As more are taking to the web to spin out their own online ventures and trying to be the next big IT startup, one question I keep having ......

For those who have been following my blog for some time, you would probably know how highly I regard service as a competitive edge to any business, especially the frontline type which face the consumers. "Youthepreneur" is Republic Polytechnic and the National Library Board's latest project. This project is (in their own words) "essentially a real life platform designed to engage enterprising youths and social groups in authentic learning via a structured entrepreneurship education program." Very nicely padded mission statement if you ask me.

And so, it seems like this latest YouTube development is going to answer the million dollar question of how its going to substain itself financially. However, in all its instant speed of transmission, many still fumble with it, making it a less than ideal tool due to erroneous mistakes when it comes to crafting an e-mail. Specifically, I've come across 3 big evils that e-mail users actually stumble …

Leadership is a pretty over-rated topic at times but had a couple of thoughts about how to go about developing what I would term "leadership on a personal level". This, I feel, is the foundation to being able to develop further in this area...

I kind of had this interesting exchange with a friend lately because she was still looking for a job after having graduated for a couple of months. She told me she needed a job soon but then I thought, is it that 1) you really need a job or 2) you really need the pay that comes with a job ? I would think that for most, having a job is more like a means to an end. Why? …

I like to think about them as a way of peeking into how he sees things:"It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently." (To his son Howard)"Somebody once said that in looking for people to hire, you should look for three …
