My latest acquisition. For $40 or so, this little figure is actually pretty good value for money. I have only two major complaints. It's too top heavy, making it difficult to pose. And it could use more accessories like a spear or a bloodied human spine. Still, makes a great desktop decorative piece.

Wallpaper Weekend. From this weekend on, I will share with my collection of auto wallpapers. I'll try to provide them in 1080p resolution at least, we are after all in the HD age are we not? To kick off the series, this is one of my all-time wallpaper featuring Sumo Power's GT1 GT-R. You can get it from Speedhunters here.

Nissan is keeping things hot with the R35 GTR, Toyota is rekindling the spirit of the AE86 with the FT-86, while Mazda is working on a more efficient successor to the RX8, but what has Honda done? Bring the NSX back I say!

There's a deluge of McLaren MP4-12C videos making its way through the Interweb today, but this by Autocar is by far the best And these lucky people got to drive it for 2000 miles! Damn, what kind of a job is that?!

It's sad that license plates in Singapore have so little room for creativity, because power, handling and awesome body and aero kits aside, a creative car plate can also up a car's cool quotient.

Porsche. You either love or loathe them. To a Porschist, the GT2RS is the embodiment of the company's pursuit of (rear-engine) engineering perfection. In fact, Richard Hammond thinks this is the best car of 2010. On the other hand, haters think this is just a souped up Beetle with a bandage round its head and its engine in the wrong place. I can think of few marques that …

Saw this Z34 Fairlady on Speedhunters' HKS Premium Day coverage, and I'm really digging the Rocket Dancer decals. I'm also reminded of how beautiful the Fairlady is. A worthy candidate when it's time to finally ditch FD2R (though probably not anytime soon in the foreseable future lol!).

Better known for his Polo Ralph Lauren clothing line, Ralph Lauren also happens to be a collector of extremely rare cars. Some highlights of his collection includes a 62 Ferrari 250 GTO, a Merc 300SL Gullwing, two Ferrari 250 Testa Rossas, and two Bugatti Type 57SCs. More recent additions include the Bugatti Veyron and Lamborghini Reventon. Vanity Fair has a great read …

Not a great fan of Rodimus. Thought he was too whiny (I hate whiny characters), but I thought this figure is too sweet to pass. Good thing too that they also tried to be as faithful as possible to the G1 version. In my opinion, Masterpieces should be G1 faithful. I'm still pissed that they didn't release a proper Starscream. The first one came in shit green and the so-called …

Oh god, I'm so tempted to get this 1/6 figure of Thor. The only thing holding me back is the subdued expression on his face and his lack of accessories. Allegedly, Thor will get only three pairs of hands, a winged helmet and Mjolnir. That's all?! Looking at this, I'm suspecting HT will do another version of Thor with more accessories. Thor's one of my favorite Marvel heroes …

The successor to the Zonda has some pretty big shoes to fill and this is it. This is the Huayra, and it is rumored to be powered by a twin-turbo (!) 6.0-liter V12 good for over 700hp and a top speed of 230mph. So it is very, very fast. But I'm not impressed. Silly sounding name aside, the thing with the Huayra is that I don't think it looks as good as the Zonda. There's …

Top Gear is back. And the first episode, featuring the 500hp V8 Ariel Atom, is up for grabs at FinalGear. So watcha waiting for?!

Naked carbon fiber, that is. If I only I had as much as money as that Facebook Zuckerberg fella, I would drive this, not some sorry Acura TSX. I know he is keeping it real and doing his part for charity, that is all good, I would too. But for me, Zondas represent the zenith of automotive engineering - no compromises, just unadulterated style and performance - and if money …

The Enzo may have been eclipsed by its newer, modern siblings, but don't forget, it was the Enzo that laid the groundwork necessary for modern day Ferraris such as the 458 Italia and 599 GTO. Hail the F60!

If there's one thing that car lovers and toy collectors can both appreciate, it's fine engineering. And when it comes to 1/6 figures, few can surpass the level of craftsmanship that Hot Toys possess. Have your doubts? Just look at this figure of Iron Man donning his Mark V suit. The details are just astonishing. More photos at OSW.>

I moved about a week ago and have just about finally settled the unpacking and stuff. Hopefully this will be the last time I'm moving cause I moved thrice in the past three years and that sucks. Anyhow, this is my new Control Centre. Really digging it.

The Porsche GT3 is a purposeful car, widely regarded as one of the best drivers' car in the world. What is lacks in outright power it makes up for with its communicative handling and it's free-revving naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine. And I think this photo from Ruben Vandevoorde captures the essence of the GT3 very well.

Ushering the New Year with a bang is 5Zigen's FD2 Civic Type R. The heavily modified K20A is force inducted and also gets a helping of nitrous to make over 500hp. On Tsukuba, the car managed 58.222 seconds, making it the fastest FWD car in the Land of the Rising Sun. You can find out this awesome car at Speedhunters.
