If you’ve done a search on Singapore in Google’s 3D Warehouse, you’ll have seen a model of a Singapore Airlines Airbus A380 created by WilliamT. This is a fantastic model, but William has placed it at a US airport in Google Earth, I thought it belonged better in Singapore..........
Well it’s been a bit of a wait but the Singapore streetmaps are now available through the Google Maps API. This means that mashups of Singapore locations on a Singapore map just became a lot more useable, people generally find it a lot easier to navigate a streetmap than a satellite map..........

Here in Europe, Google's SketchUp site has now been updated to announce SketchUp Pro 6 ($495). The site update is still in the process of being rolled out — there is a navigation tab for the free SketchUp 6, but no link there to a download page. The download page in the Help Center, meanwhile, doesn't lead to a live link yet.But perhaps that's enough of a tease watch …
