Transport Minister Raymond Lim announced plans today to double Singapore’s MRT network by 2020. As part of this expansion two new MRT lines will be built. The Thomson Line is 27km long and links Marina Bay to Woodlands. It will have 18 stations including Ang Mo Kio, Kebun Baru, Sin Ming,.........

I’ve been meaning to do this for ages. Here’s a map of Singapore’s bike shops, or at least all those I can find, let me know if you know of others. Now I just need to get this working effectively on the iPod Touch with location search and I’ll never again have to repair my.........

Reader Chau Meng Seng has come up with some great suggestions of where the MRT stations may be on the Thomson line. Here are his suggestions based on available land and major roads.Sin Ming Station - at the previous Lakeview HDB locationVenus DriveKebu Bahru station at the juntion of Ang Mo Kio.........

The Singapore Bus Stops and Bus Services Map available here. Has now been updated, it now includes all the bus services in Singapore from:and a whole lot more bus stops, there are now over 4500 bus stops on the map (the previous version had around 3000). This has necessitated a change in.........

Google have got me all excited, no posts for over a month and now two in a day. With the revelation that we now have geo-coding in Google Maps for Singapore, I thought I’d try reverse geo-coding (going from lat/lng to address rather than the other way around). No real surprise that it works..........

I wrote a few months ago about Google playing the long game with Google Maps in Singapore. Back in July they started adding building footprints and now they’re finally getting on top of their geo-coding deficiencies. I haven’t done any extensive testing, but it seems that 6 digit Postal.........

If you’re an iPhone user, you can now get access to Changi airport flight arrivals and departures from a webapp. Just load isinjet.com into your browser and away you go. If you already use isingeo.com on your iPhone it’s also available there under the “Travel Information”.........
