A Cancerian... In 2 ways...
1stly, born in a Cancerian month.
2ndly, a nose cancer survivor currently on the road to recovery. Had a tumor stuck at the end of my nose passageway, at the base of my brain. Went thru 35 sessions of radiotherapy (2 June 2005 till 20 July 2005) and thought all was clear till pains at waist area and fevers - which started halfway thru the radiotherapy, refuse to go away. Then GP and radiotherapy oncologist discovered that the cancer cells have spread to my bones n liver. Apparently with only 2-6 months of lifespan left, my chemotherapy oncologist took a gamble and put me thru chemotherapy. It was to lengthen my life a bit, so I would not die so fast, with an option to cure. Almost dead, I went through 6 cycles of chemotherapy (10 Aug 2005 till 27 Dec 2005). Although given an all clear, my chemotherapy oncologist put me on oral chemotherapy drugs (January 2006 till 19 Sep 2006), to be sure.
Lance Armstrong won Tour de France seven times after he recovered from cancer. His philosophy in life is "Live Strong". This is an inspiration. Live Strong and that means no relapse for at least the next five years of remission.

Can someone advise me if this website is involved in anything I do not want to get involved in? Is there anyway I can get my photo out of it? If this a case of using one's properties without permission?I don't know why am I on this website together with others who show cleavage and/or look sexy. I honestly do feel honoured when someone adds me to their blogroll or feature my …
Anyone planning to buy Chinese New Year goodies and snacks at Chinatown later or tomorrow? BE WARNED!!!My sis and I love those Taiwanese jelly and during CNY we buy them from those "ah beng" uncles who sell them at about $1 for 100 grams. After picking & weighing, the hawkers would go, "take a few more to round off to (some)kg," and at the same time, they'll throw in some …
On the cold morning of 23rd May, we took a bus from Anaheim to THE sin city, Las Vegas. I was actually very looking forward to the Vegas part of our itinerary mainly because of shopping! Seriously, you tell me lah, with an outlet mall each on both ends of the Strip, with Ross just opposite the hotel I'm staying in, and with 2 shopping malls about 15 to 20 minutes away, HOW to …
I know I don't have much readership, but I kindly appeal to everyone out there to help spread the word around. To me, this is an important issue and I hope someone would join me and do a small part to help...
The reasons behind this made me feel like a despo somewhat! But who cares? And so...And why am I crying when I blogging about this? Bah!

Opened a new chapter of my life since end-Oct last year with a change of job. A very familiar job scope but in a totally different industry. Although I have to handle a higher number of projects/jobs/campai gns at any one time, I don't feel very overloaded/ overwhelmed, nor do I often have the need to find a bulldozer to dig me out from being buried under tons of work. …
About 2 weeks back, I went back for my regular checkup. Finally, I've reached the "no-scans" stage of checkups. To me, it's an upgrade of sorts. It's like I've reached a stage where I have a lower risk of having a relapse. However, yet at the same time, I wonder if the comprehensive blood test done is enough to determine if I'm absolutely in the pink of health. Not that I …
I remembered when I was younger, growing up and trying to be a little adult, I refused to hold my parents' or guardian's hand while crossing the road. I wanted to show them I was old enough to cross the road on my own, but they nevertheless still grabbed my hand or arm and refused to let go. Now I finally know why they did what they did... They wanted to make sure I'm safe …
This will be a real quick update... With work on the upper jaw completed, work started on my lower jaw two Fridays back. Two front teeth did not need to take the root canal route. Went back to the clinic last Friday again to work on the tooth on the right of the two front teeth, and no root canal needed as well. Checked on the wisdow teeth extraction wounds and everything's …
Recently I came across an article titled 10 Warning Signs Of Cancer. I shared the link on Facebook and thought I could share some thoughts about the article. You can read the article here. For those who are going to laugh or brush this off, let me put things into perspective: I HAD 4 out of these 10 warning signs. I'm not saying that when one has these 10 symptoms or warning …
