Dawn Yang plagiarizes for her entries in her Stomp Blog. Don't let her get away with it!
Apologies for the double post, accidentally deleted the original post while editing it. Anyway, here's a semi-legal take on the whole situation from an ex-paralegal. My question is: is it worth it to sign up with PodFire?
Finding themselves embroiled in yet another problem is Creative, whose efforts at stopping the distribution of custom-made drivers for their products have drawn flak from the community at large. It all started out when Vista was first released, and Creative did not have the required updated drivers (or had buggy ones) for their products.A driver ...
SPH Search beta launches their own search engine called rednano.sg, their own localised version of Google, Yahoo (do note that they are partnering Yahoo for this). While it does make business sense to do so, as you can see in the case of Baidu.com, which outright kicks Google’s ass in China.Very familiar interface, no?It boggles ...
Barbaric shouting on the MRT? Being wronged does not give one an excuse to act like a jackass.
I’m sure the many readers to yesterday’s post about SPH’s newest search engine, rednano.sg will probably have tried using it to search for stuff by now. Of course, with rednano being a new search engine (though 18 months in development), it’s probably missing some stuff aye? I picked some words at random (except for one ...
I had the privilege of actually testing out HP’s Mini-Note a few weeks back, though it was under a veil of secrecy. But since the NDA has been officially lifted with HP listing the Mini-Note on their page, and the web coverage that’s been all over, here’s a look at the HP 2133 Mini-Note.Some information ...
Seems slightly buggy but very useable. In case anyone is wondering, I’m blogging this right before the Dark Knight. Now, on with the show!
Saw this “poster” on the way to work today stuck on one of the pillars at the bustop. Couldn’t resist snapping a pic at the sheer audacity of it. The poster was advertising quick hard fast cash for loan, all completely “legal” of course. It even listed a name which reminds one of a ...
Is there no end to Apple’s arrogance, or Steve Jobs ego? It seems that Apple is threatening to sue New York over copyright infringement New Yorks environmental awareness campaign. The logo in question resembles a green apple, which vaguely looks similar to the silver 2.0 Apple logo of yore. Both logos for your discerning pleasure. I’ve ...
More on the Creative drivers saga, it seems that Wired has a quote from Creative’s Phil O’Shaughnessy, who you may know as Dale-CL from my previous post. He implied as much that Creative has purposely crippled the devices by not releasing drivers as a business strategy. This means, that if you don’t have the driver ...
Are you avidly following China's second team during the Beijing Olympics...and why?
engadget has a report on the HP 2133, which looks to be of the same size as the new 9″ EEE PC, but looks way cooler and more hotter. According to them, it seems that this EEE PC killer will be using a VIA C7M processor and will be capable of running Vista for only ...
After a week long auction, pizza.com was officially sold for $2.6 million buckaroos. The owner, a US fellow named Chris Clark, is no cyber squatter but a person who bought the domain name back in 1994, when teh intarwebz first started. Since then, he has just been paying the annual $20 bucks to maintain the ...
Was at the bus stop (duh) waiting for the bus to work when the bus that just came into the bay broke down. It had been stalling there for quite a bit when i spotted this teenager runing up happily to the bus, thinking that it was waiting for her. After about thirty seconds of futile ...
aka - How to game Wikipedia when referencing. One professor seems to think so and many universities agree, citing the “blind trust” that users have in the top level content that’s found on Wikipedia (and thereby banning Wikipedia citations). However, there’s more than one way to skip this restriction, having relied on Wikipedia during my Uni ...
Let’s just start with the fact that I’m not an invited blogger and was tagging along as a guest, however, the bloggers who I met were a lively and fun bunch. Didn’t really take much pictures unlike some other bloggers (am not a big camwhore fan). The party was a success imo, with a great ...
This lady (I use the word loosely here because ladies don’t generally dress like a bad-taste hooker) auditioned at Bulgarian (or Russian) Idol singing something very familiar and recognisable but all sort of twisted-like. You’ll know what I mean when you watch the video. Now I’m not a lazy blogger, but this is really shit ...

Sure they have an unlimited mobile broadband plan. Sure they have great customer service. But M1 has a sucky and craptastic data plan. I spent about half an hour with the customer service lady, who was really nice and helpful.
