Okay, this entry is a long overdue one... Nevertheless, its still quite relevant. So anyways, my buddy and I crossed the border just recently with the intention of fixing our lovely bikes. My suspension was in a bad state (this I can tell from the huge 'thud' I hear whenever I go over a hump) and my brakes were worn out (brake pedal needs to move approximately 20cm before …

Mas Selamat this, Mas Selamat that… Everyone’s talking about him and I’m feeling rather sick of him. I can’t believe there’s over 200 hits to this website everyday by users who googled ‘Mas Selamat’. Is it still a hot topic speculating on how he managed to escape Whitley Detention Centre?Well, I personally think we must ...

I’m going to get my Class 2B License! Yeap, I just put pen to paper and will be going through lessons. Registration wasn’t much of a hassle. Just went up to the information counter at BBDC (Bukit Batok Driving Centre), told them I wanna enlist (I actually said ‘enlist’ OMG!!! LIKE ORD LO!) for the ...

I spent my Saturday recently at a Networking Seminar which I wasn’t so sure what it will be about in the first place. The missus had bought the tickets and yeah, I’ve got not much of a choice. She had successfully sold 3 hours of my life for a mere SGD$15… The first hour ...

There was an accident at the intersection near my house yesterday night. I was busy doing my report when out of the blue, I heard tyres screeching and a loud bang followed shortly after. Instinctively, I spun around and looked out the window to see a motorbike (Yamaha R1) on its side, with its rider lying still in the middle of the road. Not good.It collided with the right …

Sometime back in late August, I mentioned I'll be sharing with you the stuff I bought from Ah Boy over at Kelantan Lane. Well, it was supposed to be the following post, but I kinda procrastinated and had trouble finding a camera to take the pictures. On top of that, photoshopping them and cropping it to make it look presentable. hehehe. My apologies. And so I went to Ah Boy on …

Hey hey hey! I've been down the past 3 days. Right immediately after my 2B practical lesson, I felt feverish and took a cab home. Along the way, got a call from my brother who was also down with fever and was waiting for me to send him to the hospital. He's fever was higher than mine and upon seeing him shiver, all signs of fever in me vanished into thin air and I was 100% …

A bus caught fire at Boon Lay Bus Interchange yesterday morning. The fire started from the engine compartment while it was on the move and surprisingly, the driver didn’t notice it all along until he got to the interchange. A fire engine and a red rhino was deployed and arrived on scene within five minutes.

Okay, I’m a bit lagging on the recent Chingay. Dang, I didn’t even realised it was held last Saturday. Blame it on the Lower Mandai detail I had to go to. Anyway, there’s the whole Clone Army taking part in the Chingay and I’ve got pics! Well, ripped it from Stomp of course. heh.You ...

I’ll be driving a Suzuki Swift on Friday! Woooohooo! How cool is that? Finally, after complaining to dad about the never-ending knocking sounds, poor air-conditioning and the pungent smell on the current Matrix, he decided to get a new car! The family’s not really well-off so we decided to get a Suzuki Swift. Dad was ...

After having went to Redang Island, I’m still in the mood for some ‘green’ attractions. Something to do that brings myself close to nature and one thing that came closest is the much publicised bridge connecting Mount Faber Hill and Telok Blangah Hill. Okay… so the bridge is man-made. But hey, there might be a ...

Go Go Gadget! Go Go Gadget Umbrella! Hahahaha... Those were the days when Inspector Gadget was mentioned by every primary school kid.In real life, there is no Inspector Gadget. The only gadgets that are available are only there to improve your life, or prolong it (stuff like Pacemakers, artificial knee caps and such). Before you get a gadget for yourself, why not read through …

We've got a new family pet and her name is Cika! Cika is approximately 3 months old and is a Munchkin cat. Munchkins have shorter legs than normal cats due to unknown causes of mutation (blame it on Chernobyl, just kidding!) and is a unique breed. The Munchkin breed originates from the United States of America (http://www.munchkins.com) and is not a man-made breed. From what …

With only 3 more months to go, I gear myself up for the civilian conversion course. This 3 months, highly intensive and tough course aims integrate a soldier seamlessly into the community. Do you remember Chinese New Year 2009? I remembered mine fondly because I was at the beach, looking forward to a relaxing day under the sun, when I found out that it was packed with campers! Like what the hell... Fortunately we found ourselves a small strip of real estate far far far away from the toilet. :(Can't be blamed though cause Singapore is so small and so boring. Yes …

It is an unlucky day for Singaporean motorists today as I came across two accidents, one vehicle caught fire and two vehicle breakdowns on a single expressway. What are the odds? 2 accidents yes, its kinda common, but 5 incidents all along East Coast Parkway (ECP)? Haiz haiz...First one happened along the East-bound side of ECP, close to the up and coming Integrated Resort. …

I’ve been going to the gyms and see men carry 100kg weights no sweat. Okay, I might be exaggerating, but hey, it is the gym, and it is where people go to build muscles, train, sweat it out, and live a healthy lifestyle. Never have i expected people to do their weight training at a ...
