I was surfing the net to find out how Sheesha works, what makes it tick, and see whether I can DIY a set. But lo and behold, Sheesha isn't a good thing to have. And as always, I am against eating/inhaling/drinking/taking in things which destroy the body. This can be supported by the evident stone and blur looks on the faces of my friends after a round of sheesha. They seem …

What's a rebound guy?First hand experience is always best in these situations. Googling this word leads to several explanations of which will be listed below.- ...a man-whore who girls only come to for comfort??- Two things determine whether a guy is a rebound relationship or not. If it has been less than three months since the last breakup and the guy seems really clingy, …

Here's a question posed by one of my many followers.(5:47 AM) xxxx: kenapa lepas sahur i always need to dispose my contents after 10 mins (why do I need to visit the toilet after 10 mins of breakfast?)(5:47 …

Cika went nuts over a 'rak-rak' while my brother was assembling it, and even before it was complete, Cika gave the thumbs (errr...) paws up to the furniture! Pardon my poor cameraing skills. Need some time getting used to the new camera. :> Enjoy.

I came across this post in STOMP while surfing around, and find that the comments for the post were rather 'interesting'. Apparently, the Stomper was summoned SGD$150 and issued 6 demerit points for switching lanes abruptly and causing a taxi to brake in order to avoid a collision. The Stomper wasn't at all happy with the situation and cited that the Traffic Police officer …

Everyday I see this AH PEK, sitting alone at the void deck near to my block. He's always in white t-shirt and pants. Frail but always smile at passers by including me. He has a walking stick and an arm sling on his right shoulder(he fell recently in the toilet). Hello AH PEK!!! sudah makan? (have you taken lunch?) That's how i always greeted him . Su...dah...(murmuring) I …

The roasting effect induced by the sun's rays, coupled with the already dehydrated state I was in yesterday, inspired me to write this entry. I've yet to write about or share my experience of fasting whilst serving the nation. So here goes...I was in the Singapore Armed Forces for 1 year and 10 months, enlisting in July 06 and ORDing in May 08. The most bittersweet memories …

We left Henderson Waves behind and look forward to another iconic bridge, the Alexandra Arch. Lolx, what's up with bridges being checkpoints throughout our journey? Here in Singapore, the only buildings worthy of being checkpoints are either MRT stations, or Shopping Malls! Anyways, Alexandra Arch wasn't that far off as the signs were already pointing us to the right …

Many things in life go unnoticed everyday like the bangladeshi cleaners who wakes up early in the morning to clean the neighbourhood, the guards on duty at SAF camps, the baking of breads at the bakery and of course, there's this question dying to be answered; do cats fart?I have 2 cats, Coco and Cika. Both are females. Cika is the younger one at about 6 months old while Coco …

I had a study session today at my alma mater, Singapore Polytechnic. It was much to my surprise to see a half-filled (or is it a half-full) library when the polytechnic examinations are only next week. heheh. This is so unlike NTU's library where you can see rows upon rows of students at the desks doing tutorials and what have you. A scene to behold be it a week before …

I racked my brain(s) left right centre for this one and so I shall deliver. Hopefully.Let's see... Where to go for the next holiday? Try County Clare. It is located on the west coast of Ireland, northwest of the River Shannon. It might not be the perfect destination for most of us Singaporeans who are more inclined to modernisation and shopping, rather, County Clare is more …

Meet the Spartans, the first thing that comes to mind is a cheap rip-off of the movie 300. I wouldn’t say it is wrong to say that nor would I say it is original at all. It is a timely parody to watch amidst the impending economical recession and the U.S. Presidential Elections. Nearer to ...

There are those odd moments when you (a Jazz or Blues lover), find yourself having a connection with metal. Not the magnetic nature, rather, you feel that the song expresses whatever that is in you that you can't put it into words. Its like an unexplained thing that happened and you just get goosebumps the moment it is played. Well... That happened for me.And to think that …
