Since I was a kid, I have always enjoyed listening and dancing to his music. Here's a little tribute to our beloved king of pop - Michael Jackson, that I have drawn using Brush apps on my iPhone 3G. Michael Jackson 1958 - 2009, may he rest in piece.
I not too sure if you agree. iPhone or the iPod Touch even can be pretty immersive. I call this entry 'Drifting'.
Took me a good 3 hours to think through this composition and put it together. I think was hooked to listening to Lady Gaga's Love Games on my iPhone. And wondered how a "disco stick" would look like. Of course, from the lyrics, it's definitely something kinky and naughty. So I used a Geisha as a subject on forbidden fantasy. Thus this composition comes up.
I call this piece, Voted With Blood with this week's theme - Iranian Election. Much violence was reported in the news about this election.Edited:I have added the text in using TypeDrawing app. Now I really love the chaotic effect that it has.
Just a short post. I stumbled on this great tutorial site for figure and character drawing. idrawgirls.com I'm working on another piece which I'm experimenting as well trying different techniques of composing an artwork. So practically, I'm unlearning, relearning and learning now. Art is a continuous learning journey, glad I'm enjoying the trip.
Here's a common scene everytime I'm heading out to work in a train. It can get pretty 'sardine-pack' if you know what I mean. Good thing I could still dish out my iPhone to do this quick sketch.
Here I have my rendition of the characters from 'Fighting Spiders'. It's a drama series which is currently on my local television. So here I have from left to right; Soon Lee, Charlie and Peter characters in cartoon. I always have an idea of this drama series turning into an animated series.Watch 'Fighting Spiders' Trailers here.
Here's a piece which started off as only a plain path. I continued to work on it when I discovered the subject this week is 'Castle'. So I made use of the unfinished work to complete this week's subject.Edited:I have added in the making of "Alas We're Almost There..." on Flickr.
Like to introduce you guys to ThreeFive bot. I will intend to use it for TFC banner here. I think robo mania is coming soon. I guess I'm just inspired by robot vs human race. Too much movies!
Here's my latest piece that I have been working on - The Pianist. I've decided to go with merrier colours for this one to set a more lovey dovey mood for this one.
Just like to soak up the spirit of salvation before it opens in town. So I thought, I do this quick sketch.
I took quite a whipping from this piece. Was given a subject crisp. First thing that came to mind was chips and crackers. Then again, that's pretty common. So I decide to zoom in and experiment on textures to emote the subject. It was a test of patience I must say, but the result and hardwork finally paid off. I'm happy.
This is a patchwork project that I'm doing. We're combining a series of artwork to form a story or an art flow if you like.
I had some time dish out something quick at gramps. Had drawn my cousin's cat, Danny while it's sleeping. He looks so harmless when he's sleeping. Awww...
I just hope that the wait was worthwhile; and that me hanging on not to jailbreak my iPhone isn't time wasted. I'm kind of tired my colleagues telling me "hey my iPhone could do this, can yours?" And all I could do was to give a discontented snort at them.Cut & paste; video; MMS; flash enabled Safari browsers... I just hope these aren't just rumours. I hope they'll be …
I made these compilations of pictures I have on my iPhone using Animoto App [App Store Link], an embed it here on my blog. I think this is a fantastic way of coming up with cool presentation and PLUS you could port your short 30secs clip to YOUtube even! You can visit the Animoto.com to compile your own video on a computer as well.
Talking about going all the way out, Snapture unleashed it's cat out of the bag and on to the iPhone. Snapture created a SnaptureFlash which enables pictures to be shot at the dimmest or no light condition at all. Finally we all can rejoice - let there be light! I was a Sony Ericsson user, was enjoying the Xenon flash it had, was a bit disappointed when I found out that …
Not too long ago, I have updated iGV app. A Golden Village app which allows you to view the latest shows in town. The update includes a possible expansion of iGV to book tickets via your iPhone. Though it's in their pipeline, I'm sure it'll be anticipated by all movie goers.
