I have never been to Pulau Ubin and this long waited photo outing to Chek Jawa with the gang was my very first on the island. No I am not joking. It was a beautiful day at the start, clear skies with even prettier clouds. What more could we ask for?

I came to know of the "Snap Snap November" photo outing organized by the guys at 24seven thanks to a tweet by @victortan. Not being one to pass on such a rare opportunity, I signed up for it. This was also the first official field trip for my Tokina 11-16mm lens.

The plan was a day out at East Coast Park to do some cycling. The weather was considerably kind to us, the downpour only lasted for a relatively short while. When we saw the rollerblades, our minds were completely swayed and decided to ditch the bicycles for it.

I am going to present you a very shocking revelation but you could probably guess it by just looking at the title. And yes, I have officially decided that I will not be heading over to Adelaide. Instead, I will continue the program from where I left off at NAAEC

I have forgotten how long I have been raving about the next lens I would be adding to my arsenal which consists of just the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AF-D. Pathetic I know. It is the widely popular Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X and after months and months of saving up, it is finally in my hands.

On a Halloween night, I wasn't dressed in a smashing costume. I was conveniently in the all so simple singlet, shorts and slippers. This combination would probably be frowned upon by many girls, especially when spotted. But that was the most appropriate attire to be in, considering my feet were flirting with the mud all afternoon long.

I stumbled upon a video of these 2 incredibly sweet Korean-Australian twin girls from Sydney on Facebook. Their names are Janice and Sonia. They are 23 this year and with extremely beautiful voices to match.

In the days leading up to my Operational Ready Date (ORD), the countdown had already begun and I had set my status message on Adium to something along the lines of:x days to fireworks!where x refers to the number of days to my ORD.

While onboard just one of the many countless journeys on the North East Line (NEL), I saw an act by one of SMRT's service staff which just brightened up my otherwise dampened mood. And this wasn't the first time I have witnessed such a scene too. It has been probably a good 3 times?
