Hmm, today colleague and I, we went previewing the new Terminal 3 at Changi, after that it's lunch time, but where to eat? We ended up at the Terminal 2 Staff Canteen. What to eat? Walk round and round, and I saw this Rex Satay, it has this Mediacorp's Gurmit Singh show about Lost and Found. This stall seems to be famous for its Satay, but I did not feel like Satay-ing for …

Was at Bukit Timah Food Centre today. Wondering what to eat, I saw aunt having this. It looks very tempting and it smells so good too. Mushroom and Chicken Pasta with Laksa sauce from Mien. (Think the laksa sauce is a recent addition?)I was wondering what I should eat, so I walked around the food centre. The smell of the laksa sauce made me want to order it as well. So I did. …

We last came here in June, and we are back again. It was our Sunday night family dinner. With 9 of us, this is a very economical place to eat and the food's good too. This time Aunt and her sis ordered the following to feed us. :-)Roast chicken. Juicy and tender. With kids around, they always love it. We notice that kids love to squeeze the lime over food. If you let them do …

Spotted earlier today at the university's field. A Chinook waiting for the soldiers to come back in. Not sure what happened, we are all wondering if it was an patient needing emergency airlift with the help of the army to the National University Hospital. Are you helped someone who needed some sort of emergency before? What did you do?

After the Nasi Padang lunch yesterday, we j-walked Zion Road (haha...) to cross over to Great World City. We wanted to look for a place for some drinks. We wanted to go to TCC, but found that it to be under renovation. Next choice was Coffee Bean. It was full and it was mostly 1 person tables. We had 4 people, so we can't share tables anyway. Spinelli was also crowded, so we …

This is my colleague, Wire's recommendation. He seems to like the Braised Beef Noodles at this stall at the Holland Village Food Centre. So, we took a quick bus ride to have this. All five of us at the same thing. 3 with noodles, and 2 with kuey teow.It seems that eateries with the name "Fei Zai" always do better? LOL...Beef was tender and there is at least one piece with beef …

Was back again at Old Town Coffee a few days ago. This time to have lunch instead of just having drinks. Nearby food centres are just too warm and humid for these few week's weather. Seeking refuge at air conditioned places. We had the Nasi Rendang Chicken. It was served in brown paper on a basket. How interesting. It's those 'tapow' (takeaway) brown paper. The portion's quite …

This is another new Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore. It is called the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Singapore. What caught my eye was the capsule shape of the building. I guess it does not show really well on this photo. This is the 'back' of the hotel. But I guess you can view it from their website. Maybe I should walk a big round to the other side and take a photo of it :-)
