Amazon Japan has limited edition robot toys made from Amazon shipping boxes for sale at ¥1,000 (about S$15). An authorised customization of the original Revoltech Danboard cardboard robots, the Amazon robots, like the originals, also have a button on the left side of the head which lights up the eyes. Unlike the original toy, I ...

Nevermind the results for Cobol (which is don’t really care for); it just seems like an incomplete, barely out of beta kinda search. The start page is nice and slick (which the Google chaps could really steal from) but otherwise, it’s just hype. Maybe they just wanted to be out there early so Microsoft would ...

Yeah, I heard the Clone Wars sucked big-time but Marc Ecko’s Star Wars T-shirts were thankfully not done by the same guys. They have about 8 T-shirts and 3 hoodies, any one of which seems like a better spend than the movie.

Spending all day at home on a work day recovering from bacterial tonsillitis is not really that much fun because the medication makes you all woozy and daytime TV makes you want to throw up. And yet somehow, I ended up watching the rather entertaining Flyboys from start to finish on HBO.The story is revolves ...

Possibly the most anticipated mainstream movie event of the year, The Dark Knight is also the first Batman movie without the word ‘Batman’ in the movie title. This new installment is also a lot more challenging and complex than even Batman Begins, so it goes without saying that your 10 year old niece or nephew ...

Like many nerds, I really cannot do without Quicksilver on my Macs. At the very basic level, it’s an application launcher from your keyboard (though it’s capable of many more things). There are a number of Quicksilver pretenders for the Windows and I have tried a number of them. My favourite, though, has always been ...

There are way too many people around me with iPhones nowadays, which is why I may have been a little out of touch with Android news lately. But if this piece on Wired is to be believed, the first real Google phone might be out soon.(And hey, it looks like I’m not the only one ...
