Friendly doggies greeet you whenever on beach patrol at Karon Beach. Getting washed by waves. Bryan's not suntanning. He was just being sea-sick. We went to Phuket in May 09 and we've had a blast. We made friends with some Israeli at Koh Phi Phi. We went boogy-boarding daily at Karon Beach. We visited Patong Beach for the nightlife almost everynight and I danced with some …
We're adopted. Who Shot Bob? and ironbra have found home at Victoria Jomo, at 9A Haji Lane, Singapore. It's a lane known for its independent fashion boutiques and middle eastern cafes. Haven for indie-label whores. We've at Victoria Jomo's upper floor. To get there: Exit Bugis MRT Station. Walk towards Raffles Hospital. You'll see Bali Lane. Haji Lane is right behind. Who …
I don't know who she is. I don't even remember where I got this photo from. But she looks really hot and sensual, hence I saved it. This is a great bait to make my boyfriend visit my blog. Everytime I ask him for opinion on what I've written, he gives me a blank stare in response. Homer Simpson on Starworld does a better job in getting his attention. I hope this girl does a …
Bazaar Indulgence is turning their name into Bazaar InTrouble, in a potential scam case. Remember I told you that I'd be having a bazaar at Far East Plaza on 16 Jan? That was the day Daniel was planning to spring a surprise proposal to Emily at the bazaar but the event got cancelled. That event was organized by Bazaar Indulgence. This was what happened next - BI was to …
We've a tiring work week, so we hung out with Teddy, James and Wensi on one of the nights at Mono Bar at St James. It was my first time drinking Macallen and it's so bloody awesome 'cos the whisky is so damn smooth. Mono has a fantastic set of sound system, in fact, the best I've tried. After a few swings of whisky coupled with highly emotional songs, the night have … Last 5 Pings
Hi, I thought I'd start a new blog to document my life in Hong Kong because I realized the "labels" are a lil messy. I want to own just one journal for my life in Hong Kong. I'm so sorry but I got to ask you to update your RSS feed. Here's my new blog - http://dimsum-monkey .blogspot.com/ Cheers!
I wanna jot down some lovely places I've been to before I forget about it. Caffe Habitu at Hutchison House, 10 Harcourt Road of Central serves really good coffee and pasta. The pasta is actually al dente and goes really well with the fresh coffee. Cost around HKD 65 for a pasta and the coffee's around HKD 38 to 45. There's a ramen place opened by Japanese that I like as well. …
There's always something going on in Hong Kong. When I first arrived, I saw a man being pinned down on the floor at the MTR. He was accused of molestation and he was peeing in his pants. No kidding. At work, during lunch hour, there's always some protestors outside the government house at Central, throwing insults at both the government and the banks. At home, there's …
The syllabus has been getting harder and harder. Equities and I are not friends. I haven't been getting enough sleep since I normally hit the sack past midnight, but my alarm rings at 6 am. It's really challenging for me to sleep earlier because a) I need to clean up a lil b) I really do want to talk to Bryan and c) I need to read up. Sleep, is more luxurious than a panda-fur …
I want to get to know winter more. Besides eating heck a lot and trying not to get out from my warm duvet, I'm not clear what else I'm motivated to do in my spare hours. I've been feeling really inactive but I hate running in the chilly cold winter wind. Normally, tightening those shoe-laces excites me. I don't even have the motivation to walk to my gramp's place these …
