Managed to watch David Boyle's Slumdog Millionnaire the other day, after reading so much about it in the papers. I don't wonder anymore why it received loads of awards - in Golden Globe and BAFTA and the most recent, the Best Contemporary Film at the Art Directors Guild Awards.
