While shopping around the Myeong-Dong area in Seoul, we paid a short visit to one of the dog cafes in the area after spotting their Snoopy mascot. They also have cat cafes but we couldnt locate it. The cat cafe has a Garfield mascot! If you catch them walking around Myeong-Dong just followed them and they'll lead you to the cafe! Entrance fee was 8000 won which includes a …

Post xmas - The Ooga's finally made it on a holiday together. If you're wondering what 'Ooga' is, it's a nickname that we gave the five of us during our secondary school days. I know, it is rather lame, there's no meaning to it either. We took a coach there...which might not have been the best idea because the ride back and forth was so long. Check out Alyssa's leg and my …

My second time to the vibrant city of Shanghai! I prefer Shanghai in the night when the city looks more awake and there are less people around. Im not good with crowds. This time around all I did was eat and shop, shop and eat. Good thing we had Jesse to show us around and bring us to the famous restaurants. Famous goose at Lao Beijing. Every time the chef sliced through …

Some photos of Shanghai! And listen to the tracks while you're looking at the photos! That's the kind of feel I have when I think of Shanghai...Although we're in 2011, I'm continually riveted by visions of old Shanghai - The squalor, opium, gambling, underground gangs, red lips and coquettish women who sell you desire. The second track is from one of my favourite CDs called …

Back in Singapore this year for Christmas. I spent the last one in Vienna, where it was cold and quiet. This year seems not so different. Merry Christmas everyone.

The Little Drom Store, I LOVE THIS PLACE. Found this book at the store and it was illustrated and made for people of my age. Flip through this book if you have the chance and you'll see what I mean! It brought back so many memories of primary and secondary school days. Cake at Kki - it was a white chocolate and mango with candid ginger on top. Ended the night with …

Had date with Amelia over the weekend and we decided to head to White Rabbit at Dempsey. Have been wanting to go there for dinner for a while now, mainly because of the location. White Rabbit was an old church which of course is now a restaurant. I ordered the quail with foie gras, mushroom duxelle, roasted asparagus and morel sauce. Amelia got the 48-hour Braised Short …

You cut out wings from my heart that will never feel wind beneath. I am like the dirt that anchors roots. Grounds you such that you may never take flight.
