Now, you can search for other points of interest within a radius of your location, with the proximity search function at Earth@sg. I set a 5km radius around my favourite Esso station at Alexandra and it turns up quite an amazing cloud of interesting locations contributed by the commmunity. Good news for motorists! Thanks to MUPper cow9, we now have visibility of where all the petrol kiosks are in Singapore. So now we can easily tell how many petrol kiosks there are for each petrol company and where they are strategically located :). Well, click on each of the maps to find and view interactively the kiosks near you!

We were glad to be at the Singapore F1 press conference yesterday nite and learnt first-hand the latest updates to the Singapore F1 racing route. The 5-km route will feature 14 left-hand turns and 10 right-hand turns, with the track width narrowing towards Anderson Bridge. Also, the route now runs counter-clockwise to the road direction. Some of you emailed to ask about how to create those running routes, such as the REAL RUN 2007, in Earth@sg. Currently, Earth@sg only provides support for creation of points and placemarks, not routes for the moment.
