For today's pharmacology lab session, we had to test the effect of certain drugs, histamine and acetylcholine, on the smooth muscle function. Today, we used guinea pigs' ileums to test out these drugs.My main role was to keep the time, and shoot commands at my members to inject the drug at specific timings. So there i was, staring very intently at the stopwatch, and yelling, "Okay get ready to inject. 3,2,1, INJECT!"The guys were amused by my commands and remarked that i will make a good nurse one day. Sorry la, it's too late to switch my major to nursing.One guy said that i sound like one of those gentle and nice nurses.My reply to him was: I may sound gentle, but it doesn't mean i'll be gentle.
