It's been a loooong weekend of sorts, and I only went to school like 2 days this week. Today's lecture got cancelled, so I just bummed around and followed mum to NTUC to do some grocery shopping.I have a strange affinity with grocery shopping; I enjoy it more than shopping for other things. I particularly like to look at fruits and vegetables and admire how fresh and good they look. Then I take a slow stroll along the aisles looking at the products and reading labels.In a way, it's therapeutic, well at least for me.Grocery shopping is the only time when my mum and I actually spend some quality time together, arguing about what to get, me reading labels and translating for my mum and her explaining to me how you can combine this and that ingredient and cook up a fast meal.Today we spent some time standing at the toiletries section deciding which shower cream to get.
