Yum Cha @ Shanghai Restaurant, JW Marriott Hotel, KL. Bump into NG Yen Yen too!
Ah, yesterday was the first time that i didn't blog since i started this habit 3 months ago, talk about withddrawal syndrome! Was a busy day having fun! :-P So in the late morning, i went yumcha with a bunch of friends @ Shanghai Restaurant, which is located in JW Marriott Hotel, KL. If ur in KL and very much into dim sum, this is a place not to be missed! Eventhough it's kinda expensive due to it belongs to a 5-star hotel, its totally worth it since u can really taste the best Shanghainese cuisine in town and satisfy ur tai tai's lust. :-P So we had these: 1. Bread-crumbed cod fish with Foie Gras, toppe with bacon. Ah, so sinful to deep fried the foie gras, but its damn shiok!! I secretly prayed that they don't like it so i can have more servings. :-P 2. Cucumber cold dish. An appetiser good enough for us to ask for 2nd serving. 3. Xiao Long Bao, aka Shanghai soup dumpling. What can i say, they have the best authentic xiao long bao in town.
