Who is more fortunate?
The increase of fuel price has spark protests all over the world, from Europe to nearby countries like Malaysia, Indonesia and India. Singaporeans on the other hand seem to be able to come to terms with issues like increase in fuel price, more ERP gantries, expected increase in cost of public transport, etc without much coverage on this issue.Have Singaporeans become mute. Perhaps we should feel fortunate that we are living in a country where there is peace and there are no protests and disorders. Maybe the really fortunate ones are the ministers do not have to face cut in their salary nor do they have to due with protests and other social challenges that other governments are facing.What are your thoughts?
