Excellent arguement! Read from the straitstime forum the other day as well. The writer argued that if we are gona lower cost of ownership and increase cost of usage, shouldn't we just put up ERP everywhere on the island and do away with road tax and whatever tax you have on owning a car? Another interesting point the writer made was that ERP was only gona divert traffic to another area which will soon be congested to the point where even more ERP have to be put up.I'm not against ERP.
