Working in unison, following their leader's orders and plans with precision.Well in Madagascar 2, it shows the origin of Alex the lion. Alex, or rather his real name, Alexkay, was a wee cub when he got captured by poachers. His dad, Zuba the Alpha lion, saw the poachers and gave chase.Although he managed to grab the crate that Alex was in, he got shot and the impact caused the crate to get flung out into a river. Eventually, the crate floated all the way to New York, and Alex was rescued.Cut back to the present, and we see Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria boarding the Penguin Airline.
