UOB NOW card
Just received this bright red debit card with a big "NOW" across it from UOB. Apparently, they are discontinuing the Campus Debit card (which i'm currently using) from 1 July onwards. Thus this card was sent to replace it. I have to say, compare to the cool and sleek design of the Black Campus Card, this red NOW card just looks so eww..Though it has a ezlink function too(not much use to me anyway, cannot use concession with this), but there is no NETS function, so you will have to use a separate card for NETS transactions. And the worse thing is, there is a fee waiver for only a year, and subsequently there is an annual charge of $18! The Campus Card would have been free for all my years in Uni!The rewards system of SMART$ instead of UNI$ now seems better,but only if you frequent those participating merchants. Looking at the list, I think guardian pharmacy is the only place I might go to, and not all that frequent too. Bottom line is, I'm not going to activate this card. And it's not even worth the trouble t
