Tutorial: Exporting your wordpress.com posts and images to a wordpress.org install

While trying to move our wordpress.com blog over to this wordpress.org install, I find that the wordpress.com’ s export tool does not export the images. I imported the XML export that I got after a wordpress.com export, and I see the images at the new blog, but on close examination, the image links in the posts ...No related posts.
