Thanks to CNN and Facebook, it was a wonderful tribute and memorial for Michael Jackson. The pictures above are collated from the live telecast of his memorial. I grew up listening to Leslie Cheung, Beyond, Michael Learns to Rock and of course Michael Jackson himself. Till today, whenever I am moody, I will sit down and play all their songs on repeat mode.Everyone has their own favourite tracks that they listen to and those tracks may take on certain meanings whatever they may be to get you through whatever shit you may be going through.Likewise for me, MJ's music, especially Heal the World, has gotten me through many a time where I felt lonely, down and out. At the same time, this song has instilled in me the idea where no matter how insignificant you think you might be - rich or poor; status and power or no status and power; celebrity or not; all of us have a role to play to make the world a better place.Rest in peace, Michael.
