That Ramen Date
God bestowed upon Bryan the best ramen in Singapore, via a copy of 8 Days magazine in 7-11 one night. We were discussing about ramen in a 7-11, then there on the rack was that very article on our local magazine, featuring the top ramen in Singapore. Bryan took me to Santouka at Central one night. We ordered the tokusen toroniku ramen. I'm not very good with describing food, but let me try - the pork was bloody tender and the soup is extremely powerful. It was a fantastic meal. After which, we bought a bottle of Sapparo and a bottle of Corona, took a walk to Robertson Quay and bought our favourite chocolate cake from Wine Connection. It was a lovely date. Good food and good company always warm my heart.
