Your computer run on single core at start up. If you have dual or qual core processor, you are not utilizing it so well. Don't let one core bottleneck by using all the core.First, go to msconfig. If you are using Vista, click start and type in "msconfig" and press enter. If you are using Window XP, go to start, run and then type msconfig. Now you go to boot and click advance option. Check the "number of processor" and choose 2 or 4 whichever higher you have. That's all you need to do.
