Social Media Breakfast 3
My weekends are usually for sleeping in. To recharge after a week of late nights and early mornings, I usually wake up at 1pm on a Saturday afternoon, refreshed, ready to take on the world.However yesterday, I woke up early and dragged my tired body to attend the Social Media Breakfast at the Asian Civilisations Museum. I wasn't disappointed. It was great meeting folks such as Kenneth, Coleman of friends of yesterday.sg as well as guys such as DK, Cullen, Laurent Roux, Professor Ulrike, Uzyn and Todd Murray. Special thanks to Darryl Tay and Claudia for organising this gathering.Hopefully, these guys will like what they see at the museum and blog about it. Among the government agencies, I reckon that MICA, MCYS, HPB, NLB and NHB are some of the pioneers in government social media efforts. In helping NHB and our museums reach out to netizens, hopefully such efforts - venue sponsoring social media events - will bring more prominent bloggers into the museums. Better still if we can spread the word on yesterday.s
