Ode To The Adventure Crew: Age Is Only A Number
You're as young as you think you are. I'm not ashamed to say that I'm 28, an unmarried, part-time student, full-time lab rat. Most of my peers are either: a) in grad school getting their PhD b) working some high flying job, and I'm not just talking about the air steward/ess c) married with/out kids d) being responsible, practical adults Me, I'm in a job that mostly makes me sad and grumpy, struggling through my grad school classes, juggling responsibilities and other shit that comes with being a tax paying adult. It can make one feel old before your time. The ones that make me feel young again are my Adventure Crew; Seriously Sarah, Raven Silvers, Joelyn Alexandra and Avariel. They're all younger than me by a few years at least but they don't make me feel old at all. Well, except for some bits but generally, they make me feel like I'm in my early 20s again. They're fun to be with, adventurous and the few people that I can totally geek out with, without feeling like the odd one out. Conversation topics c
