OPI Nail Polish - Toxic or Not?

I am sure most of you girls know that OPI is anything and everything related to nails. Not forgetting there may be some guys who know it too since they may be (nice) boyfriends who probably sit around the nail parlors waiting for their girlfriends to finish their mani/pedi session... But do you know that in 2006, due to pressure from their stakeholders such as customers and interest groups, OPI pledged to remove the "toxic trio" ingredients in making their products? (Toxic trio = dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde and toluene). You can read more by clicking HERE. However, based on a comment which I came across, a lady left a comment in one site: Posted by Grace Hagen on 01/20/2010 at 05:10 PM Something is wrong here. I have been label reading lately as I react to polishes with the “toxic three”. I have found one or more of those ingredients recently on labels of China Glaze, OPI and Nicole, Orly, and Sally Hansen. What kind of research was done to compile this list?
