Not News: Sentosa Dog Put Down
I'll tell you what happened that ill-fated day in Sentosa. Lancer was playing happily by himself, not disturbing anyone, when he suddenly saw a moving doll, similar to the toys he had at home. And it even made giggling noises! How exciting! So he jumped on her, which is just how dogs play. But, oops, the little doll started crying. Poor Lancer must have been shocked. What a strange doll. But before he had time to lick the doll's tears away, a deranged man stalked up with a club and started shouting at Lancer and whacking him repeatedly. As the man would later admit to newspapers, he was trying to kill Lancer. And he succeeded. Lancer was sentenced to death and put down on November 2007. All he wanted to do was to play.
