My super long holiday
Will be away for the entire October with an old pal from Navy for a much awaited Middle Eastern adventure. Starting off from Syria, we will be negotiating the rocky paths of Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen and Israel over 35 days.There are still a few things to settle. For one, I need to finalise the air tickets from Bangkok to Damascus with a local agency. Two, settling the irritating and troublesome Syria visa. Will be fedexing my passport to my contact at the Malaysian Syrian Embassy and getting it back by next week. Three, there's still the small matter of getting packed for a long trip!Its been busy week at work and I don't see any no respite from now till 29 September. Hopefully, I can find time to resolve all the above by the end of next week.The plan's to fly off at 6pm on 30 September and reach Singapore on 5 November. Its going to be one hell of a ride.
