My review of CJ7
Well, it is a bit late and wols to be still reviewing CJ7, but it is only yesterday that I went to watch the movie. Before watching the movie, I had already heard a number of negatives reviews of this movie. However, being an ardent fan of Stephen Chow's production, I still went ahead to watch the movie. To be honest, I am quite disappointed with this latest Stephen Chow movie.The movie revolves around an alien "pet" that was stranded on Earth. Stephen Chow is a widower living with his son (acted by a girl). This time round, unlike his previous movies, Stephen Chow is a poor construction worker without any special ability. As usual, there are some other funny characters. Stephen Chow had mentioned that in this movie, he does not aim to make people laugh, but to make viewers cry. There were not much breakthrough in his jokes and ideas, but some parts of the movie is quite touching. However, it is not enough to make people cry.The reason is that Stephen Chow failed to create a strong enough feeling of the view
