Me Me and only Me

Time for a quick post. Had been reading a lot of other people's code for my freelance gig. It's difficult to write good code but it's really much much more tedious to write good code that everyone can understand and maintain easily.Every developer certainly has their own style of writing codes. For example in the codes that I've been reading lately, my mind just can't seem to get around some conditions written like if(null!=someVariable) {somehow I can only read faster and better if it's written the other way round. Maybe I've always read codes out loud in my mind that's why I stumble non english like statements. Which is one of the reasons I've very much geared myself towards Ruby nowadays. Development is definitely about me me and me sometime. It does help when you name your properties appropriately, e.g. IsNull, IsEmpty instead of any obscure names. For methods maybe append the intent infront e.g. AddItems, CreateWorkFlow. Can't think of much now but will definitely add more when I have time.Hope whoev
