Maybe I need a Date Night like this...
Like how I spend at least once a week doing movies, it was Date Night for me last week. It is certainly unavoidable for a relationship to take a back seat as the couple gets busy with their other commitments such as their kids or job. And one may be too busy to even notice the lack of spice and love in the marriage/relationshi p. So it becomes like a repeated cycle such as: Wakeup -> Make breakfast for family -> Send kids to school -> Go to work -> Pick kids up after work from childcare centre -> Head home and make dinner -> Wash plates after dinner -> Put kids to bed after a riot with them in the bathroom -> Working on the laptop to finish up your work -> Head to bed. By the end of the night, you are simply exhausted and you just want to sleep. No conversations with your partner while both of you hug each other on the bed.
