Marble Slab.
On the recommendation of a colleague, I visited this ice cream store nearby called Marble Slab. It has an interesting concept in that first you choose your ice cream, then you choose the 'toppings' to be squished into the ice cream. There are numerous toppings to choose from: M&Ms, chocolate rice, raisins, walnuts, marshmellows, etc. You can choose your cones too. Or if you prefer, you can have the ice cream in a cup, or ice cream in a waffle cone in a cup. Here are the Marble Slab guys in action: I went for a creation in the menu called 'Rocky Road': It's basically three scoops of chocolate ice cream with walnut, chocolate and marshmellow bits in it. Served in a crispy waffle cone with dipped chocolate (my choice), and costs USD$6.04. I have to say it's the best ice cream I've ever had! Better than even Haagen Daaz, a personal favourite for some years now. It was thick, rich and creamy, and the walnut, chocolate and marshmellow bits gave the ice cream added texture and flavour.
