MAD MERCHANDISE OF JAPAN #4: The Alien Shrine of Nagakute

The center of all life in the quiet Nagoya suburb of Nagoya, Japan is the Apita department store. For no apparent reason, the third floor hosts an alien (from the Aliens saga) guarded by defunct Coke and candy machines. If you've got a story as to why this is here, please leave it in the comments section. By the way, I once found a giant paper mache ET in the upstairs of a Japanese truck stop.
