Lim Chee Guan(林志源) Bak Kwa (BBQ Pork) - Most famous bak kwa in Singapore
Just bought 2.5kg of Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa home. Queue for about 15 minutes then only reach my turn. I ask my colleague why they choose to buy Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa but not the rest, they told me that it's the best among the rest because of it's soft and fragrant bak kwa. Plus Lim Chee Guan bak kwa since 1938 traditional taste. It's a Singapore traditional local brand. 1kg = $46 sgd, 500g=$23 sgd. It come with nice sealed plastic beg and put in a presentable paper beg. The queue over China town there is quite long already although now still have 2 week before Chinese New Year. Can't imagine how long the queue would be when it's one week before Chinese New Year.After I eat, if compare to other brand of bak kwa in Malaysia I felt that Lim Chee Guan bak kwa is soft and fragrant especially after you re-heat it using microwave. Another thing to take note is the bak kwa won't have those hard meat that mixed together which you will feel like eating overcooked beef meat. Worth to give it a try!
