Learning Mandarin with Podcasts
So far I've been using the Rosetta Stone software as my main learning tool. However, I thought I'd look into other ways to help me practice.ChinesePod provides free beginner level podcasts in Mandarin Chinese! It's also one of the most popular podcasts in the world. As I've been quite impressed with the content, I've added a real time feed of their most recent podcasts to my blog. You should be able to see the links to the podcasts on the right hand side of this page. Although the beginner level podcasts are free, you need to pay for access to intermediate and advanced level. I don't think I need to worry about that for quite a while. I should also mention that the man speaking in the podcast is Ken Carroll. Guess where he's from? Dublin, Ireland! There might just be hope for me yet :)
