Japanese Cusines in the making @ Home! GONE Saturday as I was busy working due to a customer event and now Sunday already! Busy busy week ahead with meetings and more trainings! Anyone and absolutely everyone can cook! =) We got bored of Chinese cuisines hence decided to level up the challenge and take on Japanese FOOD at home. Menu for the day were: Salmon and Tuna sushi Soba noodles Adegashi Tau Foo The best place to do shopping for all the Japanese required ingredients would be Jaya Jusco or Isetan! :) Making the sushi was the most time consuming activity. You need to wait for the rice to cook, cool down, wrap the rice with seaweed, cut and serve! The key ingredients to make the sushi rice were mirin, sake and vinegar! Got to invest on sushi mat to roll the sushi! Use Japanese rice, I'm recommending this brand... can be bought at any major supermarkets! :) We bought the Sashimi Combo - Tuna and Salmon! After a good 2 hours; it was READY! Looks soo nice right? In fact tasted AWESOME! :P
