Am finally back in SG, after a 2-hour flight to Kuala Lumpur and a 5-hour bus ride to Johor Bahru. For once I'm thankful that I stay in Woodlands, just a 5-min bus ride from the checkpoint. With only a little over a week on the road, I wasn't able to do Kuala Lumpur justice at all, but the 5 days in Brunei let me see the other side of Brunei that I had missed during my previous trip there with the SAF -- thanks in large part to the kindness of JY's family, who brought me around the place and saved me from using the shabby public transport. A big thank you to the Tuens as well, who saved me from spending a night at KL Sentral station and also brought me on a mini-gastronomic adventure around KL.
