From as much as I can gather, even though Ron Lanford (an Australian) has a similar patent in Australia which he first had it registered, it doesn't seem like he has sent any letter of demands or invoices to any of the companies in Australia. Apparently, he has similar patents in New Zealand and USA too. If that is the case, doesn't it make you wonder why did he target only Singapore companies? I wonder if he thought that Singapore being a small country, the local companies here will be easy targets?I also wonder if Paul Smith, the local managing director of Vuestar, is also an Australian? Is he the foreign talent that our government has touted that we need for our local economy? I wonder if sending invoices to Singapore companies to demand payment for a patent which has prior art, a talent that our government was looking for.Where is our government now when we need them to revoke this ridiculous patent instead of wasting the local companies precious time and resources?
