Hakone Free Pass from Gora to Sounzan Via Cable Car
Wrote about the Hakone Free Pass and its first stop at Yumoto. After you reached Gora, there is an interesting "cable car" that brings you upslope to the next stop... The Gora station and its vicinity is a very pretty place: Take time to read about the daimonji yuki monument Off to the "cable car" Sit right in the front (if u can)..It offers an excellent view ! A map shows all the "stops" of this cable car ride.. If u have time (unlike the usual me, rushing to complete the Hakone Loop), take time to visit the parks etc. And in case you looked at the photos and screamed, what's a cable car ! It is not a cable car.. It is named by the authorities :) A short ride later, you reach the Sounzan station. The ropeway is coming up next ! What's a ropeway ??!! Tell you more in next blog..
