Gourmet Food Trail with Ah Lun (阿伦笑吃人间 周末趴趴吃) at Shin Yeh restaurant and Szechuan Court(Fairmount Singapore)
Together with omy.sg and Lianhe Wanbao, a special collaboration was held together with food critic Ah Lun(黄卓伦), I had a chance to savour some good foods from another 2 different famous restaurants in Singapore. Read about my first experience here! Of course, With Christmas and Chinese new year coming by, we've been hosted with some of the best foods, according to the festive seasons. First up, Fortune Yu Sheng at Shin Yeh restaurant. as part of our chinese tradition in Singapore, we would recite prosperous chinese quotes, like "恭喜发财“, meaning congrats on the upcoming fortunes, while we mix up the ingredients. And comes the tossing, the higher, the more "stirs", the better our fortunes! The aftermath. However messy it can be, or how unusual the ingredients are, it always tastes delicious, we had fresh sashimi and mandarins(chinese oranges) in it! Next, Taiwan-style Double-boiled Abalone, pig's stomach, chicken, scallop and sea cucumber in Casserole.
