For the love of Damask
My love affair with damask began only a couple a years ago when I attended a fancy event ( can't quite recall where/what/why ) and spotted some lovely damask wallpaper on the interior walls. I called it the 'pretty tribal prints' for the longest time, until the great WWW revealed it's origins and correct term. What was once reserved for formal rooms, Damask patterns are now highly used by designers on almost anything imaginable. I love my damask best when it begets feelings of love and lightheartedness.
