Falling to her death
Bobo saw this news article in the Chinese papers a few weeks ago... A 40+ year old woman fell out of her 18th storey flat while putting out her bamboo pole. She apparently stood on that stool which is quite high to put out the pole. Another lady fell to her death the following week and she was only 30+. This is not the first time it has happened in Singapore. But this reminds Bobo of the first night she moved into her current flat. Her mom had just washed clothes and it was really late that day since they had cleaned up the house before that. So Bobo was hanging clothes with her mom... It was the first time they were putting the bamboo poles out of the windows. Previously in their other homes, they had a service balcony which Mom hung their clothes in. But in this new place, they tried hanging it outside the first night.After putting out two poles, Mom was in the midst of putting out the third pole which was rather heavy.
