Experiencing Menotti

I would not have known that Menotti exists if wasn't for Angie. The Italian restaurant and cafe is tucked behind Raffles City mall, round the bend of Springfield and British India. In my busy schedule, if I ever go to Raffles City mall, I would just zoom in on Topshop, River Island and Warehouse. I have never really explored the mall since its extensive renovations.When I first entered Menotti, I thought it was a pretty place to chill over sparkling wines. It was softly lit and a tea light lay on each table. With only a few other diners, everyone spoke softly. Then the dinner crowd started pouring in and the romantic ambience gave way to endless chatters. Oh boy, that place is really popular!Menotti serves up an array of Italian wines, Italian fares and a good selection of desserts. One can get a five-course set dinner for S$34.90 or order off the a la carte menu.
