Enchanted: A Review

I went into the theater showing Enchanted feeling rather skeptical about what to expect. For one, I was never a Disney fan, and I would rather watch bulky men get killed by one another. But, as a good boyfriend, there are things that I have to do which I normally won't.As expected though, Enchanted is a film filled with all the musical, comedic and romantic sappiness one can find in most Disney classics. It is also, of course, an attempt at parodying Disney's own style and stories. One can almost immediately smell traces of Shrek's mud-stained arse in this one right from the start.Fortunately, and against my expectations, I enjoyed the entirety of the film. The premise is simple: Fairy tale 'princess' Giselle falls in love with Prince Edward, gets sabotaged by evil queen Narissa, gets sent to real world New York, meets real world divorce lawyer Robert Philip, falls for Philip instead, and blah blah blah.From the trailer which I first saw the film weeks ago, the only recognisable cast was Susan Sarandon, who
