Dubai...first impressions...
Arrived in Duabi at 2.55am Dubai time / 6.55am singapore time.First impression: WHat a freaking huge airport! Took me a whole 20 minutes to get to Passport Control. I was not lost, but rather looking at all the sign boards to look for my hotel pickup. This being my first time here, I was perhaps overly careful about going in the right direction.Passport control, long queues, guess that is the same regardless of which airport you go to. At any rate, had some eyecandy to look at, so waiting was not too much of a pain. Claimed my baggage and proceeded to find my driver.Got picked up in a BMW 740. WoW. This being one of the richest countries in the world, a Beemer 700 series is probably cheap, but for someone from Singapore, it seems too much of a luxury.
