Congratulations, Yaw Shin Leong!
You know what Confucius said, “To be wrong is nothing unless you continue to remember it”. And you hear surely about this Chinese saying, “Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.” And what is my point, really? Well, this is to relate to the recent excitement involving Hougang MP Yaw Shin Leong who allegedly impregnated his fellow Workers' Party fellow member (who's married, by the way) and subsequently resigned from his party's leadership (read: a treasurer). See, Workers' Party is too quick, in my opinion, to accept his resignation. By doing it, the Party has somewhat admitted that there's something wrong with Yaw Shin Leong. And it is really wrong, I'd ask you, to help improve the nation's birth rate?? (I has similar thought with regards to "Singtel "Amateur Housewives" ... the solution to Singapore's declining birthrate?!") I mean, yeah, morally it is indeed wrong. But why confuse moral & politics? And with regards to nation's birth rate, one cannot be too choosy, can he? Whatever
